Plagiarism

Its great to see that most websites in the populous community don't plagiaris but i've seen two websites that seem to copy everyones content and change a word or two and say they made it. The websites i'm talking about are Populous Dawn of a devil's age php and the html version. The webmasters don't seem to realise the time and effort that other people put into their sites and how bad it feels when someone takes. I hope Master JJ, Deszike and Devilhu remove the copyed content as it hurts the whole populous community

  • Don't copy? Explain why there's a program on your site that starts up with 'This programme is downloaded from www.populous3.tk'? Hard to believe that was a typo. Really ennoying people who copy without asking. There was this german guy who copied every single download I had. Hated it.

  • hmm Hi A Reader! aka dezsike or devilhu (probably devilhu) Just to note that I know you copy every new idea a website gets because you want your website to have every single little thing. Just make sure you get your own content....

  • Plagiarism is a nasty thing but in terms of offering downloadable content then i believe this should be ok , providing priar concent has been established and the download is offered on their own servers instead of just linking to the original location. Theres only a limited amount of information you can really post about populous so people are bound to write the same thing. However, the more websites out there just increases the changes that the community with grow at a faster rate. With my site i just point people to the already established fansites and community since i feel this is the best option.
